Turmeric has a rich culinary history and is widely used in Indian dishes and Ayurvedics. Potential health benefits of turmeric include better regulation of inflammation, blood sugar support, digestive support, promotes brain health, and cardiovascular health.
The spicy flavor of ginger compliments the earthy flavor or turmeric and has additional health benefits. Ginger is perhaps best known for supporting digestive health and soothing stomach upset associated with occasional nausea, vomiting and motion sickness.
I love curling up in front of the fireplace during my morning ritual while sipping on a turmeric ginger latte on a chili day.
