Skin Care Review with doTERRA | HD clear, Verage, & Essential Skin Care Line Explained

Did you know that doTERRA has three amazing skin care lines?

I get a lot of questions about the differences in each line, so today I am going to talk about that. doTERRA has three skin care lines HD Clear Line, Verage Line, and the Essential Skin Care Line.

Each line caters to a different skin type or to different skin needs, I will walk you through all the differences, but I will tell you that most people find that combining different products from different lines is what works best for them; don’t feel like you have to choose just one line.

At the end I will tell you which products work best for my skin and my personal routine.

But first, I want to share a product with you that I am loving for my skin. I used to get micro needling done on my face every three weeks, but those can get expensive really quick and I've found something that I like better.

Add a few drops of Blue Tansy to your Moisturizer and mix it up. Don’t worry about it being blue, it will not turn your skin blue; Blue Tansy is great for the skin.

If I could only choose one product from doTERRA to use on my skin it would be the Yarrom|Pom oil. It is my anti-aging secret sauce. I use it as serum after cleansing & toning, and before moisturizing. If you really want to amp up the results of the Yarrow|Pom oil then try using a DermaRoller like I shared in my skin care review video before applying the Yarrow|POM.

The Immortelle Anti-Aging Blend is a really big hit among doTERRA customers as well.

Reveal Facial System

This system has a two step process, it contains a refining polish and a peptide activator.

This system contains:

Wild Orange and Lime essential oils provide a cleansing and purifying boost to the skin.
Pumpkin Enzyme assists in the exfoliation process without stressing or irritating the skin, and assists in removing dead skin cell buildup.
Natural Bamboo silk beads provide gentle, effective exfoliation revealing fresher, younger-looking skin

My Skin Care Routine

My skin care routine does change depending on the season, so I will list out the products below and when I use them.

1-2 times a week I use the Detoxifying Mud Mask on my face and my armpits.

1-2 times a week I use the Reveal Facial System.

For face wash I use the Verage Cleanser.
For a toner I use the Verage Toner - I like this one best because it is in spray form and I add a drop of rose oil to make it feel like a rose water spray.
HD clear rollon to prevent breakouts.
I use the Yarrow|Pom oil as a serum. Another fantastic alternative is the Immortelle Serum.
In the summer I use the Verage Moisturizer. I add a drop of Frankincense to this moisturizer because Frankincense has anti-aging properties.
In the winter I use the Essentials Hydrating Cream. I add Blue Tansy oil to this moisturizer.
I also use the Eye Cream from the Essential Line - this helps with the dark circles under my eyes.
I just started using doTERRA's Brightening Gel to spot treat dark spots.

Another skin care hack is using a Derma Roller.

After cleansing and toning I will roll the Derma Roller up my face. (Look up some YouTube videos to see how to use the Derma Roller.) Afterwards I add my serum and my moisturizer. The Derma Roller helps to stimulate collagen production, increases circulation, and allows your products to absorb more effectively.
