The New Products from doTERRA are Here!
The Evolve doTERRA Convention 2021 just happened and they released so many amazing products that I can’t wait to share with you, so I am going to jump right in.
1.Tulsi (Holy Basil) 5mL
First, we have a new oil called Tulsi, it's also known as Holy Basil; you may have heard about the popularity of Tulsi teas. One of the unique things about Tulsi/Holy is that it's one of the most adaptogenic oils.
Other other highly adaptogenic
oils include Frankincense, Lavender, and Copaiba. When In doubt use one of those oils, right? Adaptogenic means it helps to support your body in the way that helps to normalize the cells, so it helps to guide that cell to work properly. Tulsi is also relaxing to the body.
Tulsi is designed to be used either topically or aromatic. If you use it in your diffuser, it kind of smells herbal, maybe like your favorite tea with a really light minty scent. I like to put this in my diffuser with lavender before bed; we did get this last year if you remember as a limited time oil, but now it's a permanent one.
Another way Dr Hill recommend using it is topically for an Aroma Touch hand technique, so if you don't know what aroma touch hand technique, I’ll leave a link below with details. It's a super simple technique that you can use to work with the little meridians of your hand, it feels like a little hand massage, and it helps to promote homeostasis or balance in the body.
Doctor Hill also said that Tulsi/Holy Basil helps to stimulate the autonomic nervous system it's similar to Copaiba in the way that it relaxes and decreases stress within the body, and it helps with cellular protection.
- Has a calming aroma
- May help maintain oral hygiene
- May support the appearance of healthy skin
2. Copaiba Touch 10mL
So, speaking of copaiba it's one of our most popular oils we've had it in gel caps, a 15-milliliter bottle, and now we have it in the touch version. This is a really nice addition to the new Copaiba line that we've had for a couple years. You can roll this on topically, which is great for me because I use it a lot on my forehead, when I am experiencing tension and it seems to work really well for me. Before, I was making my own roller bottles with lavender and Copaiba oil, and this is a great alternative if you don’t want to hassle of making your own.
Something I learned today, which I didn't know, is that we actually have part of our immune system that resides within our skin. By using this topical application of the Copaiba, it helps to support not only skin, but also our immune system. We've already learned that a lot of times when we put the essential oils on our skin they're being absorbed, but I didn't realize that our immune system can also be linked to our skin, so this is going to have a lot of great uses.
A few highlights:
Copaiba is a complex oil, which means that it takes longer to go through the body and metabolize, this means it can last longer which is a nice benefit for immune support, a healthy inflammatory response, and a healthy neurological system.
Copaiba also has skin benefits; it is a wood oil that comes from the Copaiba Tree of Brazil. These tree oils tend to have a structural effect on the skin, whereas floral oils have a more repairing effect on the skin. You could use the Copaiba with a little bit of Rose Oil, Jasmine, Magnolia, or Neroli in your skin care routine.
- Promotes a clear, smooth, complexion
- Assists natural skin hydration
- Supports healthy looking skin
- Helps manage minor skin lesions
3. Madagascar Vanilla 5mL
This next oil smells so amazing! Madagascar Vanilla!
This is considered an absolute because it's not a true essential oil. This is going to be vanilla absolute, and it smells exactly like you're imagining it smells.
We learned that a majority of the vanilla that you can purchase today whether it's for cooking or for aromatic use is synthetic, because it is so difficult to produce pure vanilla. I also learned today that Madagascar vanilla used to be pollinated by a specific type of B and when that be became less populous the Madagascar vanilla started to suffer.
The pollination from the bees was the only way the plant is able to reproduce the vanilla beans. A little boy discovered that you could hand pollinate the Madagascar flower with bamboo sticks, to allow it to bloom and then eight to nine months later produced the vanilla beans.
So, this Madagascar Vanilla is hand pollinated. The flower only blooms for one day, so if the growers miss that window, they miss their crop. doTERRA partners with these growers to produce the Vanilla, but also to empower and to help create jobs. doTERRA is very passionate about doing Co-Impact sourcing and Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world. doTERRA not only sources their Vanilla from them, but also Ylang-Ylang and a handful of other oils. As a result, they're teaching this community how to be sustainable, they're helping with money management, they're teaching them how to grow additional crops so they can be self-sustainable, and get fair, on time payments.
The majority of their workers are women and when women are employed in those poor communities it decreases their susceptibility to sex trafficking or other undesirable things in their culture, so this is a really great way to empower the women of Madagascar and get really good vanilla in your home.
Vanilla can be used three ways aromatically, topically, and internally. It is great to add to hot drinks, such as coffee or hot chocolate. You can apply this to your skin, make a sugar scrub with it, add it to your lotion or body wash.
If you are up for a bit of experimenting you can pair Vanilla and a floral scent. If you use a floral oil and put it on first and then add a bit of Vanilla on top it has an intoxicating aroma. If you, do it the other way and put the Vanilla on first and then the floral oil on top of that it really makes the floral scent stand out and makes it smell sweeter. Of course, you can always play around and experiment with different oils in your diffuser too.
A combo that I think would smell particularly amazing is OnGuard and Vanilla, especially in the fall or the winter. I think the combo of spices and cinnamon in OnGuard combined with the sweet smell of Vanilla would make your home smell warm and inviting.
- Provides a rich, warm, sweet, inviting aroma
- Creates a comforting and relaxing atmosphere
- Makes a delightful addition to beverages

4. On Guard Chewable Tablets 60 count
This is one I think you guys will love! On Guard chewable tablets, but with some added benefits.
The On Guard products are one of doTERRA’s best selling products and they are in over 5 million homes.
These new chewable tablets contain doTERRA’s On Guard essential oil as well as vitamin C, vitamin D, Zinc, and powerful beta-glucan. If you aren’t familiar with the On Guard essential oil, it includes Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary.
These tablets are sugar free, gluten free, vegan, and non-GMO. Instead of sugar these tablets are sweetened with monk fruit extract. These tablets are made to be taken daily if you wish, you can take up to three tablets per day and there are 60 tablets in a bag.
There is no age range on the bag, they should be safe for any child who can safely chew a chewable vitamin. I will say that because On Guard has a strong cinnamon taste that these tablets might be too spicy for children, but my daughter loves the taste of On Guard, she’s five, so every child is different.
I'm just super excited to have something that has extra vitamins C and D, and zinc because that's something we already take extra of in our house.

I am incredibly excited to announce that this stick has been approved as an Over the Counter (OTC) which means it is approved for use against aches, pains, arthritis, bruises, and sprains.
I know that this powerful stick is going to get a lot of use in our house for aches, pains, strains, bruises, arthritis, and all those inconveniences. I sometimes experience soreness or tightness in my lower back, so I will be using it for that.

It smells citrusy and sweet.
doTERRA did a hundred studies with 36 essential oils and they discovered that this blend of essential oils was the most effective at eliminating a whole list of different airborne and surface pathogens in our home. The results of the studies are going to be rolled out in the future, but I don't have all the details on this yet.
This new essential oil blend can be added to water to make a powerful non-toxic cleaner for your home. It could also be used to make a DIY room spray, add a few drops to dryer balls, or diffuse to refresh any room.

Of course, you can always continue to use your own dispensers, but this set is just so gorgeous.
