Welcome to Blissed Mama Malas

Malas are a string of beads that have been used for centuries to enhance meditation practice. Whether you choose to use your mala for meditation, prayer, decoration, or simply to wear as jewelry, there is no better way to connect with your mala than through the relaxing process of creating your own.

I will be teaching you how to make a traditional hand-tied mala consisting of 108 authentic gemstone beads, a larger guru bead also known as a "teacher bead, and tassel. The number 108 is significant in cultures across the globe and is open to many interpretations including the thought that the number 108 represents wholeness from where all things come.

Each mala kit was mindfully designed to include specific combinations and placements of gemstones to enhance the gemstones' natural properties. Kits were also created with a specific intention in mind indicated by the name of the mala kit which you can keep or infuse with your own unique intention as you make your mala. You are welcome to follow the suggested patterns or get creative and make up your own.

I've created 6 short video tutorials to walk you through each step of creating a gorgeous mala you will absolutly love! You can set up your creative space by turning on some relaxing music and brewing a cup of your favorite tea. Now, let's get started!
